We cannot link directly to Google images, or even download images directly from a search engine. Period. No exceptions.
In general, all images on the web – especially those originally belonging to a business - have some licensing attached to them. We cannot freely use any imagery we find, as we cannot account for the licensing of those images, or even their original source. Those who own the rights to these images can easily search for other websites using their images without permission, and then pursue action against the site: termination of service/contracts, litigation, etc.
For venues, you should be able to confirm with your contact that imagery from their website can be used before using it on our site – they may even be able to point you to specific media centers with open-licensed imagery. This is the preferred method for using venue/hotel photos.
